Nobody asked but this situation for me demonstrates that our thinking of war fundamentally hasn’t really changed in this last 100 or so years. How can a sovereign nation get blitzed by a much larger nation while the world watches? I do agree NATO doesn’t get involved because of further implications, but if I’m Biden I don’t know what else I can do besides sanctions.

But without getting into history, politics foreign affairs these nuclear capable states lead by old authoritarian types should have been a thing of the past. Say what y’all want about the United States but the world is a better place with more countries adopting democracy.
