People like you put liberals on blast for paving the way for fascism, to the point where it seems like you hate them even more than the fascists.

You made me read a whole dang book on the ineffectiveness of the western liberal pussies to unite again the Nazis (for fear of Communism taking it's place which isn't even a variable this time).

So help me understand how pulling a modern Neville Chamberlain and "ending" the war on Putin's terms is any different now?

Real question please don't wish death upon me or call me a Neo nazi for asking

its not a "modern Neville Chamberlain" because Russia isn't Nazi Germany and doesn't seek to occupy all of Europe lol

try looking beyond the "NATO/Ukraine = good and Russia = bad" dichotomy, and think about who's interests it serves to have a prolonged war with Russia, where more and more conscripted working class Ukrainians will be sent to die. and if you're worried about democracy, don't look into what Ukraine has been doing to its dissenters/communists/opposition parties lol

This has been American diplomacy for 80 years if not more

The difference is that it was behind closed doors because previous leaders had a modicum of tact

Exactly. We got 2 witness usually happends behind the scene

Vance and U.S leadership just held a full diplomatic meeting with Zelenskyy and his team 2 weeks ago and that was likely a screaming match too.

It’s really funny because we’ve been saying for three years that Ukraine was cannon fodder that was going to be left out to dry and all of the liberals itt called us russophiles

And now they’re up in arms because America did exactly what we said they’d do as if it was some novel phenomenon and not a continuation of post-WW2 diplomacy

I think it’s important to understand that American participation in Ukraine was not one with the same agenda as Russia

Ukraine is far lower on the list of America’s overseas holdings in terms of priority. It’s less developed, more exposed, and less integrated than places like Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the UK, Germany, etc.

On the contrary, it is the neighbor and primary satellite of Russia. There is massive cultural and economic overlap between the countries and they share a literal border and one of the most important naval access points in Europe. (Sevastopol)

Holding Ukraine is far more important to Russia than the US, considering its position relative to each. And, Ukraine is far more easy to control for Russia than for the US, given how many other satellites each country possesses. Russia was the one who would always be more able and more willing to escalate in the region

America recognized this, and understood from the outset that their objective in Ukraine was never to integrate and develop the nation as a satellite of the Western order. Ukraine is a place where attrition against the Russians could be initiated, as well as Syria. Ukraine was always a warzone and was always intended to be a warzone to the US.

Russia always wanted a stable, developed Ukraine that it could possess and maintain and exploit and protect as an imperial possession. Ukraine has no use to the Americans other than being a meat grinder. It’s important to attach intentions to the degree of meddling each country has in Ukraine.

    Taps sign a million times

We supported Ukrainian liberalism because it threatened Russia and because they would choose to bleed over it

America never gave two f***s about “Ukrainian independence” or “Ukrainian democracy” or “Ukrainian Lives”

This has been my steadfast narrative for three years and it’s, unfortunately, vindicated right now

Hmm I wonder why fighting continue in occupied Ukrainian territory when the Russian government continued sending military units across the border post-Minsk

nobody thinks the invasion was a good idea, bozo. the war should've been avoided. this was not possible as long as ukraine's government allowed itself to be the vanguard of US backed fascism.

Separatists were still fighting the moment the Minsk 2 agreements were signed because they said it didn’t apply to that region

correct, minsk II was counterrevolutionary and the separatist movement should've continued to fight rather than be absorbed into Russian chauvanism.
