eastern europe hates russia because yall had right wing nationalists taking over before during and after the fall of the SU and although some of you got some of that western treat, others were left with mere promises of freedom and prosperity. it was just incredibly convenient to continue the same anti-soviet mythology as a way to justify this new endlessly miserable and contradictory 'quality of life.' theyre hating communism in south america too with even more forceful and violent overthrows of previously established socialist governments that were replaced with monstrous regimes. and the only way to get by in such regimes was to accept the anti communist mantra and make oneself believe in it. washington bullets is like 150 pages long btw
