honestly- on reflection the way i have spoken about this conflict was insensitive and weird even if i wholeheartedly believe it is right that russia gets pushed out of ukraine, and that my desired outcome was the good one, and that the vast majority of ukrainians desire this outcome and don’t want to stop trying

there’s no glory in it at all but i do still genuinely see it as a case of failure to stand up being an acceptance of evil.

hopefully new energy sources are online soon and at the very least we get a freeze where civilian attacks cease to happen

i don’t know enough to predict with any confidence but i think either frozen conflict of attrition, or a tragic incident in ukraine due to corruption or civil disorder (remember ukrainians are in some ways more angry than zelensky govt) allows russia to punch through
