Ukraine attempted a drone attack on the Kremlin
Response will be interesting
Doubt it's Ukraine. If so, they're not informed well. Putin is barely in the Kremlin
Also it won't help Ukraine's case at all. Same as blowing up Nordstream wasn't of any help to Russia, so it's unlikely they did that
Maybe it was coordinated by the same people who bombed the cafe and killed that blogger.
i really hope ukraine comes out on top. this situation is terrifying for people in eastern europe. can it not be free from fascism for once? this situation is really anxiety inducing for eastern europeans
hopefully the divisions between wagner and the MoD lead to weakness among the aggressors

You too smart not to know that was a false flag

no chance they'd go as far as staging a false flag op next to Kremlin

Youre in Russia right? Genuinely interested why you think not as you'll know way more than me

im not in russia atm. I think as a whole they just wouldn't risk a false flag at the heart of Russian government. Kremlin is too big a playground to do something as insignificant as two drones flying over the wall or whatever that was. should be one of the most well-protected places in Russia too, and drones getting in like that is not great optics-wise, internally and externally
if I was staging a similar operation id use something tougher than drones and instead of going straight for Kremlin would test out those anti-aircraft systems currently stationed around Moscow. there would be debris but its nothing; my story would get all the better if somebody got injured by it. but then it just makes no sense for me to do that in Moscow; once again presumably a safe space for the government and its citizens
to have any sort of justifiable angle for retaliation or any response at all and also have it happen near or inside Kremlin they'd literally have to carry out a 9/11-scale attack to make it make sense. or do one of those apartment bombings like they did in 99 (Putin did that s*** dont @ me!), something with victims. but maybe they'd be able to spin this drone s*** too idk

Yevgeny Prigozhin says he will pull troops out of Bakhmut
This is interesting. It is known that Wagner and Ministry of Defense have been at odds for some time. Such a move will likely have monumental optical and material consequences for Russia
This of course assumes it isnt cap, which probably is not the case

He’s said stuff like this before. 0% chance this happens, just internal political brinksmanship

What's the worry in Poland, "accidental" missile strikes to try to engage NATO? Or a full scale invasion? Genuinely curious what the feeling is there

yeah that's always a concern, but also we dont really have a particularly good history with russia at all, they openly dont want us to be in nato and to be secure they require a sphere of influence that goes up to the carpathians
the extent to which this will affect us is debatable but we really really hate this s*** happening in our backyard
i doubt russia would want to invade themselves immediately, but they'd start funding groups in poland, f***ing with infrastructure, cyberattacks etc
then in the future if nato is ever weakened theyd probably try to establish a pro russian puppet government

I just wasted time writing a response to this post about how he probably is genuinely frustrated, it's convenient to just say they'll fight for several more days until the 10th at a time when Ukraine only has about 2-3% of the city left, and that they were going to get a break after Bakhmut is done anyways..... but this dude already switched up per usual
Days after he launched a furious tirade against Russia's military leadership and threatened to withdraw his forces from Bakhmut, the head of mercenary group has said it would continue to lead the offensive on the city in eastern Ukraine.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, who leads the Wagner Group, a private army that has been invaluable to Russia’s efforts, said in an audio message posted to Telegram that Russian officials had “promised the amount of ammunition we’d need to continue fighting.
I do think they were gonna get rotated out anyways once the job is complete.

Yeah I just saw that on telegram lol
I think it’s clear there’s some sort of deeper internal struggle that’s going on and he airs things like this out to force people’s hands
so apparently Ukraine was able to down a Russian hypersonic with a US supplied patriot missile
this could carry implications for future threat assessments, i dont believe many were aware of this capability

this was clearly a lie to try to keep the checks flowing as the West grows more pessimistic about their prospects
This was fake news.

here in poland dedication to ukraine feels as strong as it always was barring the dispute over agriculture
i dont know how it is in the states but we know we can never rely on Paris and Berlin to do what's right anyway
the coming counteroffensive will be interesting if terrifying to watch, russia needs to be defeated
hopefully the ukrainians can push through around zaporizhia and make their way to crimea
