Y'all think Russia will eventually attack from Belarus? Been seeing buildup of vehicles and artillery for the last few months.
Nah Pikachu dance stopped it
This dance is a war crime in and of itself
Nurses danced against covid so surely this worked too.
900 billion? We’re just making stuff up now?
has anyone pointed out yet how obvious it seems that the real reason the US agreed to the Brittany Griner prisoner tradd was actually to give back Russia key figure needed to stroke the war w/ Ukraine so the US can continue to benefit from the geopolitics

One arms dealer isn't gonna change anything with the war. The US is gonna benefit from Russia'a strategic error as it should.

i'm not saying if it will necessarily work per-se, but what other reason do you think logically there would be such a lopsided trade? especially when there's other US prisoners which theoretically would be more important.

It’s not really a lopsided trade. They get someone they would’ve got for nothing eventually and we get our PR victory and a US citizen out of the gulag. There is the other prisoner that Russia has but he’s considered a spy so he’s harder to get, though reportedly Trump was offered to trade Bout for him but turned it down.

i don't really see the logic, it's definitely not a PR victory as it was heavily scrutinized/controversial to begin with. it's not like this was an american hero or something, and there really wasn't a wide campaign to get her back. Like if you ask the average voter (esp of boomer age) if this should have happened i would be shocked if anywhere near even half of people cared.
I mean even beyond that by comparison Bout was arguably one of the most dangerous illegal arms dealers of the past several decades and upon returning to Russia was immediately platformed on national media to spread anti-western propaganda. There's virtually no real deeper benefit to having her besides the general national obligation of the US to try to free its citizens abroad.
What happened to @op
Not to mention Liz Truss texting Blinken a minute after the explosion “it’s done”
