But sanctions against Cuba and North Korea did nothing but further invigorate animosity against the US in normal populations because it validated their oppositions

Even here we can tell that any American lip service about the Russians needing to take it back from putin so everyon can cooperate doesn’t make sense when Russians are being deprived of every connection to the west as a result of a rich mans’ conflict
