They're painting the sanctions as the West being afraid and trying to suppress Russia, a lot of Russians don't remotely speak English so it's very hard for them to watch anything that isn't Russian. You can't even post opposing opinions on social media... He also says protesting is scary because it's pretty much guaranteed to end in a harsh punishment...

I don’t understand people who try to lie and say the US got blown out by the Taliban or VC/NVA. I don’t cap and say the US won but they for sure didn’t get their ass kicked unlike Russia getting multiple convoys destroyed and Generals killed in 2-3 weeks.
