Russia has conceded on denazification and demilitarization (prolly bc they already destroyed so much of Ukraine's military infrastructure ), which were the least reasonable of his demands

Now will Zelensky concede on the Crimea and Donbass?

Zelensky knows that Ukraine will never take back Crimea.

But if he agrees on that, he'll be seen as a traitor and the nationalists will take him down instantly

The new China-Russia axis is interesting

A***ytical opinion: new eurasian bloc with risks to the global order. Europe has been galvanised towards the US in turn

Personal opinion: new evil empire just dropped

If anything, it’s a reaction. The “evil empire” (u wild for that brodie) didn’t drop, it was forced into creation.

    It'll be over for him

Best bet is he flees with his loved ones to the US and does CPAC speeches and starts the ultimate grift that unites American conservatives and liberals

wild that one's people can turn on you for simply trying to stop bloodshed. I understand there is serious weight in the idea of losing sovereignty, but Zelensky has to take this deal.

By the way this is only a position held in the West or aspiring Western countries

For the great majority of the people in the world, multipolarity has always been better than unipolarity

My grandfather knew the dissolution of the USSR was gonna be terrible for the global south (and he got his land seized during the revolution in Ethiopia so he definitely had no ideological affinity with them)

Playing great powers against eachother will always bring better results than having no choice but to bow down to one imperial hegemonic bloc for underdeveloped countries

Those are words from Dmitri Peskov, Kremlin spokesman

Dmitry Peskov said Moscow was demanding that Ukraine cease military action, change its constitution to enshrine neutrality, acknowledge Crimea as Russian territory, and recognise the separatist republics of Donetsk and Lugansk as independent states.

    businessinsider.nl/ukraine-has-plans-in-place-to-ensure-continuity-of-government-one-way-or-another-if-zelensky-dies-blinken-says

"The Ukrainians have plans in place that I'm not going to talk about or get into any details on to make sure that there is what we would call continuity of government one way or another. And let me leave it at that," Blinken told Margaret Brennan on "Face the Nation" on CBS News.

    That's.. interesting
