What I'm confused about is why you think anyone in this thread that doesn't like Ukranian Nazis' would somehow be fine with Russian Nazi's

Putting together context clues, I can assume that they might be against all Nazi's in general, whether they're the primary discussion or not

Because the small faction of Ukrainian Nazis being the main concern in this thread for 1200 pages for the same exact people when it comes to Russia invading Ukraine and bombing the s*** out of children is sus as f***.

If ukraine wins- azov are armed and have combat experience. They live another day

If russia wins- azov take a role in resistance and will he able to recruit angry Ukrainians

How on earth does either scenario present a weakening of nazis?

The former scenario is probably less good for the far right. Ukrainians will probably re elect zelensky and accelerate towards liberal structures, maybe more of the same even if azov are a bit stronger

Bruh it's so many things i havent made a thread abt whys that the standard

I've talked abt it before tho, even when the Christchurch shooting happened and he was rocking the same Nazi insignia as in the Azov logo

There's been bans and unbans on weapons to Ukraine by the US

I understand that not everybody gonna know abt it but that doesn't mean it's just only now being brought up

So not worth making a thread on it any time before now, but worth bringing up in a thread in which we are discussing a war where children, innocent civilians are being killed?

It's sus. It's sus because it is feeding into Putin's narrative. Read the room.

In fairness, this wouldn't happen if russia didn't invade them

Ukraine has had a nazi issue for a while as we know, but invading them and legitimising their blood and soil s*** won't make nazis less appealing

At the same time the war has turned their Jewish President into a national hero, which will hopefully mitigate the Nazi problem

Lol so what is the thread supposed to be about? Just posting images of atrocities?

Innocents die in every war, that doesn't mean other things besides how tragic it is shouldn't be discussed

Listen, anyone with an ounce of sense knows that Putin's claims of "denazification" are bullshit but it is not inconceivable that this war will bring already existing ultra-nationalist sentiments within Ukraine more to the mainstream. That combined with an influx of weapons to the country leads to what I think is a sensible concern that this could empower Ukrainian Nazi groups in the event of a long-lasting occupation.

With that being said, just so my intentions are not misconstrued, for the sake of the Ukrainian people I hope they can repel Russia's invasion while at the same time not falling victim to that sort of ideology.

I'm less concerned about Russian Nazis and more about Chechens in an insurgency situation. George Kagan said those fighters commit atrocities as a rule. Zelensky should be evacuating people not arming them

Azov have repeatedly issued publications calling zelensky a traitor and a sell out

It's more complex than anyone in here gets

The best way to fight azov is to preserve the legitimate democratic government of Ukraine.

Yes just like the election of Barack Obama ended racism and created a sharp decline in violence against black people

    "small faction"

It's also not the main concern of the thread, so that's just making up s*** to fit your argument. These people are also against the war crimes happening on either side, so idk why you're just saying this

But this discussion feeds into Putin's narrative. I don't have to know you to know you are not pro Ukraine based on this small interaction with you. We both know what you are doing. Everybody else does. Not sure why you think you are fooling anyone?

The government banned multiple left wing parties in 2014, to call it legitimate is a stretch

Zelensky won the majority of the vote and now commands the confidence of 90% of Ukrainians per wartime polling

This was done under the right wing government of petro poroshenko, who was wanted for corruption and trwason before the war broke out
