EU
watching this thread as someone who knows nothing about international politics had me confused but THAT one was the most confusing
what would be the major differences between joining the eu rather than nato would it be perceived as less aggressive or whatever?
honestly it'd be the same from russia's perspective, like they 100% know the reason why they want to join is to force deterrence basically. It's more that NATO turned them down in lieu of sanctions so now they're desperately clammering to do whatever else they can to force themselves into the same position they would have been in had they been in NATO.
Russian bots outing themselves itt

what would be the political and material benefits of recognizing deez nuts, from your perspective

DPR and LPR recognized as independent states, only on Stem Player
this sounds good in theory until you hit the realization that whenever there has been a war lead by people themselves rather than government it's been over ethnic cleansing and/or race lol
But now, when mighty populations are impelled on each other, each individual severally embittered and inflamed—when the resources of science and civilisation sweep away everything that might mitigate their fury, an European war can only end in the ruin of the vanquished and the scarcely less fatal commercial dislocation and exhaustion of the conquerors. Democracy is more vindictive than Cabinets. The wars of peoples will be more terrible than those of kings.
