·2 repliesAfter a month I can confidently say this is my fav album of his. I cannot be objective as I am huge fan of Drake but I might say this is a top 3 of him. Production, bar-wise, everything he sounds like he loves this rap s*** and will die for it. One of my main complaints since Scorpion is the fact Drake chose the most boring beats and started rapping on auto pilot with the most boring cadence and flow, NONE of that is here which I really appreciate. Album has maybe 1 skip which is incredible for 18+ tracks. This is the ‘pure’ rap album that longtime fans have been asking for a while and its wild he did it on the most controversial time of his career and did it in the most creative way not having 15+ AM/PM tracks. Its the first time he has let the music speak for itself. I fully expect him to have his independent debut and use the classic formula he has used since Views which is to please all fans, but I dont mind this time. Heck for all I care he can retire on top with this one and I wouldnt mind. All the things we wanted to hear, the complaints we had with his music are answered on ICEMAN and as a great body of work it will be played for a long time.

He’s also been relatively radio silent since the drop, aside from celebrating passing MJ and doing a singalong Instagram video with some fans
