idk I think he does exceptionally for being a conscious rapper from ATL who still maintains elements of the cities sound all throughout his music, especially on this album which is probably his most ATL sounding project he’s done yet, nigga even got Ciara back in her bag lmfao. Listening to “Of Blue” rn based on your recommendation in your last post and it’s definitely got that DF vibe but lyrically it’s closer to Big Boi/Killer Mike level than 3 Stacks. That’s no diss but Stacks is just otherworldly. Also there is a lot of religious connotation in his music (atl is in the Bible Belt so understandable) and I don’t religion especially Christianity so the extra points he probably gets with the religious/moralists folks he doesn’t get from me. I’m judging strictly on flows schemes bars metaphors and doubles buddy
