Dust being recorded on the day of the Superbowl or close to it is insane

  • HudsonMantin

He also didn't say anything when he accepted his Grammys, even though that was at the peak of the anti-ICE sentiment, which many artists at the awards commented on.

But either way, focusing on Drake alone, it's an absurd accusation. Drake is not right-wing in any sense, but accusing him, the most identifiably Canadian person in the world, of being “MAGA” is American-centric in a way that is quite tone deaf and disrespectful. Anti-American sentiment in Canada is at the highest it's ever been, and you can argue Drake has leaned into that, or at the very least leaned on his Canadian identity even harder, post-beef.

And to believe he is right-wing, you have to be uninformed, unserious, stupid, or a mix of the three. He has called Trump out multiple times and celebrated Biden’s win in 2020. Now it’s fair to say that the political climate has changed and that many people who didn’t support Trump in his first term do so now, but there’s no evidence Drake is one of them, so disregarding his previous comments is ridiculous. Even since 2022, he's had the pro-abortion bar on Her Loss, called out homophobia in 2023, signed the ceasefire petition, and now the anti-ICE bar on Iceman. One of Touré's quotes was “someone could probably talk him into being pro-Israel in four minutes” which is so stupid. Drake doesn't let politics control his life and relationships the way many people do, but that doesn't mean he's stupid or doesn't have stances. Every single stance he has taken has been pretty left-leaning. It’s also important to remember that he signed the ceasefire petition very early on, at a time when the climate was not so anti-Israel as it is today.

So, what is the evidence of him being right-wing? He has a relationship with Adin Ross and Akademiks. That’s it. Everything else is just vibes, he's rich, he's powerful, he's hated, none of which means anything. I dislike Adin and Ak as much as everyone else, and would prefer he never spoke to them, but those relationships clearly aren't as close as most people make them out to be. They're not in his circle, they don't speak often, and the relationships are more about business than anything else. I don't think they say much, if anything, about his politics. And what about the people who are actually around him? 40, one of his closest and longest-running friends and collaborators, is far more left-leaning than Adin and Ak are right-leaning. But people are either too uninformed or too biased to talk about that relationship.

The fact that a 30-minute video exists on the topic is insane. Drake was following the POTUS and VP Instagram accounts under Biden, and when those accounts transitioned to Trump and Vance (whom he never actually followed), there was much said. But he has since unfollowed both, while still following Biden and Kamala. That alone should have been a definitive answer. But no, Fantano leaves that information out of the video, and instead they spend their time misinterpreting a bar to make it sound like Drake was accusing Kendrick specifically of antisemitism when the line was really a comment on broader cultural hostility.

I realized how much people hate Drake when I mentioned that two of Drakes closest confidants are Lebanese (in response to people saying he was just doing a gotcha moment for Khaled in regards to Palestine & that ceasefire letter didn’t mean much lol).

People still replied saying “You get Lebanese Zionists too” and then accusing him without any proof that he was an actual Zionist.

Society is absolutely fried. They don’t even know who 40 is and that he did an article with Rolling Stone about Gaza/lebanon or that Drake had a Palestinian group perform at his house for his birthday couple years ago yet just lay these claims without proof.

Hov literally makes phone calls & gets s*** to happen frequently. Not sure why it’s so hard to believe he would do it here. He had someone call Ross the other day & told him to chill.

hovs hands were all over the beef

which is why u had some of the biggest cocksuckers in the game move different or stay silent. u think khaled ghosts his biggest cash cow unless hov taps him on the shoulder tells him to stay out of it.

dont think people realize how much s*** had to come together for 24 to play out like it did. artists didnt just switch up on drake because they hate him or love dot.

was their best shot to get him out of here for good and cemented with the superbowl.

jay wouldnt be doing all of his corny interviews 2 years later and trying to remove himself from the beef and talk about how bad it was.

  • Are yall peeping the play they about to run?

They really trying to hype up a Jay-Z diss on Drake

Yall so dumb for making this a big thing and adding on
