Drake WonI haven’t listened to MMTBS all the way through in a couple years but I felt like Kendrick did that better on TPAB. Granted he was more so touching on race than his own personal experiences but still. Plus I think that’s not what people wanted from Kendrick after so long. For better or worse you know what the public thinks they are gonna get on album versus what the artist gives sets the tone.
