Everything he said on make them pay and make them remember
Then that bar about how a part of him died in 2024, so hard
Pull up Maybach, doot doot, baby
No other region had momentum from Kendrick/Not Like Us/Pop Out, so it was region specific.
"momentum" in the 20s does not mean nothing let's keep it a buck.
But if we wanna go 'head and say that, Az Chike got signed to Warner after the success of gnx
I wish these critics would try this album with that corny s*** I will walk into their office and yoke them up and force them to listen and absorb every flow on this mf and smack the s*** out of them every time they get distracted or speak
is this his best album bottom line?
I wouldn't go that far. Some of these songs could content for the strongest in his discog though. I say give it some time it's only been a couple of days.

the only thing bothering me is it being pure rap
drakes best work shouldnt be rap only
if it were the same tracklisting as the visual album i would be dead set with this being my fav work from him ever
The clear shot at HOV right to the pitched down chorus on Whisper My Name is a mad ting
”Whisper my name and don’t say it too loud ’cause you gotta come here and you know I pop out”

I feel you to some extent. I'll say this, I can't see putting this over Take Care or IYRTITL. I'm not even the biggest fan of NWTS like a lot of people are (I definitely like it though) and I'm not even sure if I'm ready to put it over that either.

Comparing it to his mainly Rap projects (IYRTITL, Scorpion Side A, Her Loss) it's the best. But overall I see Views, NWTS, Take Care and maybe CLB above it, as I prefer RnB Drake.
Right now I also have Habibti over Iceman, but that's mainly because of R2A.

IYRTITL has like three 4-5 minute rap records that are considered Drake classics, let’s stop it man

“I’ll take 500K, not the dinner, I never could learn s*** from none of y’all” is not a shot at Jay?

over records like No Telling, Star67, Know Yourself, and 6PM in New York? I mean I guess lmao, you the stan
hard hill to die on though…quality over quantity or whatever

I don't want to diminish IYRTITL in anyway. Iceman is not miles above it, only slightly.
For me the margins of quality inbetween Drake's albums since Take Care are very small in general, so even his 10th best album is great.

yeah thats a jay shot for sure

i think drake biggest fall from quality is these type of records tbh
Like 6 PM in New York is a f***ing classic that i have spinned the last 10 years and then in 2026 things like Firm Friends fall a lil flat too me
