It isn’t woke to say there are some pieces of art and artist in all mediums that people are often afraid to even constructively criticize because their fanbase has such an emotional attachment to. That often connects to triggering topics . A distinct memory or a built up over time of idolization . We see it every day on here . My issue is never someone liking an artist or project it’s the idea that it’s “ perfect “ and others should agree it’s perfect and succeeds in every way

I feel like he couldn't create a real hook for the song and then put in the sample.

Yeah, I feel it's his most cohesive project to date after 3 days of listening to it.
What I'm really into, is that after the beef everything is very calculated and thought of. The beats, the lyrics, the features. And all of the visuals including the videos just cement the songs themselves. I am so glad the features were brought to basically none on this one. Drake's been known to use a lot of features on his projects.
