Take Care the only album in my head rn that I feel like “hell naw this ain’t better than that” but yeah other than that this easily clears everything in the 2020s and it’s not close. Definitely clears scorpion. ML was awesome but had a few misses this doesn’t have, same with Views, this clears. I’d say how I’m feeling rn it’s right on par with IYRTITL but the rapping on this is better and more introspective. That just leaves NWTS which is more polished and concise for sure and packed full of hits and classics but yeah this is rare air right here

This was a problem with CLB and FATD. With Scorpion, obviously he did the two discs, but in the streaming era it never felt like much of a real distinction

It really is. Every song had a central theme that he didn’t go away from. And the production even the beat switches were a natural progression and didn’t feel like 2 different songs slapped together for the sake of a beat switch. Just a fantastic album man
