ThatGuyChikeIt's not the rhyming really. It's the superfluous nature of the rhyming that's annoying. He uses 5 minutes of bars to tell us he's a regular guy with a dramatic life and his feelings get hurt sometimes but there isn't any context for any of his in beef behavior. Drake has an image rn. True or untrue. It exists. The issue is he's not explaining the real lynchpins of why his image has declined. He just wants to talk about how all of it feels while deflecting to other parts of his life. He should be unwinding the knot of the perception change properly.
I think you can make an argument that he really showed his value in this era opposed to his image declining
