bro f*** if this dude dont stop beat switching
he gotta tone it down sometimes
feel like everyone song got a beat switch lol
you know, I have really grown into respecting what Drake is doing rn.
Idk man, Iceman is a really unique album to me strangely. It’s an album about his relation with the music industry. Which is a very unique theme and narrative for an album. And you know what, I give him all the credit in the world.
It’s harder to make an album antagonizing everyone from executives to contemporaries than I think he gets credit for. Even if it’s self serving. It takes balls. And it seems like because he is polarizing, people are kind of equating this to being a sore loser. I get that, and he is, but he really is in uncharted territory for an artist of his magnitude.
Kanye, even with all the rhetoric about the music business, never fully channeled this sort of theme into an album.
It is the most meta album. Music about the music business. Idk, it’s really interesting to me.
You should listen to Little Simz No Thank You. As that album is about the same topic and is excellent
damn chromazz music is awful lol she bad tho
she got muted video classic though already goddamn
Either
Iceman -> Habibti -> Maid of Honour
Habibti -> Iceman -> Maid of Honour
Maid of Honour -> Habibti -> Iceman
Depending on what u like tbh
What are you basing those orders on?
What are you basing those orders on?
Theres no correct way but tbh anything other than iceman - MOH - Habibti is wrong
Yeah Habibti not for me but I don't hate it as much as first listen
Im on my 5th listen it grew on me quickly
took me until now to realize that the UMG/Universal globe is the thing exploding at the beginnin of shabang mv lol

The more I spin these three albums, the more I honestly like them.
Very different to what it was like for me with every Drizzy release since Scorpion (except HNVM which I loved first spin, and still do). Like, the more I came back to FATD or Scorpion, the less I f***ed with them.
Also, feels like the online reception of some of these songs and the albums themselves is the best I’ve seen in a minute for him.
Especially Habibti and MoH, Iceman was obviously decent immediately, but these two are lowkey as good, & in some moments, even better. I’d say some of the highest highs across these three records are stuff like the unexpected Peggy Gou sample, etc.

That’s the way I listened
This probably was answered already but who is this?

Are you dumb or stupid? The wheels on the Rolls is Chromazz, headshot domazz

Iceman is a classic rap album already, there is no skip, but also very much in the moment with the bars
The music on Habibti and MOH will probably age very well though
And because the content is quite timeless
