Like two things can be true you can genuinely feel this way and that’s ok but you can also be completely off base with most of the people who hear this lol
And a third thing can be true this can absolutely grow on you, it dropped less than 24 hrs ago, none of us should be concrete about our takes rn
Also a 4th thing is true I’ve realized with time that subverted expectations can cause a negative experience with music, I went in expecting nothing and loved it
If by "most people are not going to agree with me" you mean that the albums are going to stream exceptionally well - I have NO doubt about that. But we all know that chart success doesn't equate to being a great product and it doesn't actually even dictate if any of the music will have any staying power.
This music is pure slop and some are eating it up out of a loyalty to the artist
I'll definitely continue to listen to get a more proper feel on exactly what are the best and worst moments, I mean Drake is my #4 most streamed artist of all time. But I do know that this direction and downward slump he's been on gradually over the last 10 years is starting to reach rock bottom. I need him to dig deeper on further projects
