It’s not a healthy way to deal with things, but most of the older people in my family will get hospitalized and not tell their closest people in the family. I don’t know if it’s out of embarrassment or privacy. Some people don’t want the additional energy of people worrying about them constantly projected at them, it can become another stressor to some. He might be embarrassed by it.. but as a son, it’s also something you’d have to go through.. and everyone wants vulnerability..

bad writing is bad writing man really simple as that giving this type a s*** a pass is what turns the whole thing into jokes which been happening. Theres a line where the humor can be good and id even say necessary sometimes in hip hop but that’s different from the s*** he does tbh.
