May 15shaleiroseHe clearly did it to get out of the UMG deal faster, that context has to be applied here. It's far from a Chris Brown situation, where he's been releasing 30-40+ song albums every two years for the past decade without any real intention behind it.
I really don't know how anyone could hear any of these albums and think he just put together some throwaways and called them projects. Each one is distinct and fleshed out in the sound & theme that it's going for.
Yes, there's three albums. Yes, there's 43 songs. But in my opinion, as someone who has been HEAVILY critical of Drake's art over the past decade as y'all on here already know, this is the most focused he's sounded in a long time, if not his entire career.
