Jay Z was worth (according to Google) $320m at 37, Drake's at around $600-700m. I'd say Drake's probably started spitting about his corporate success a lot more already than Jay Z did.

They're pretty even. Many of Jay's best lyrics talking about his insane wealth (I use this term b/c he's practically rapped about having money ever since he came into the game, so for context, we're talking about when Jay Z really became Jay Z the mega-entrepreneur). Lot of the songs came at the 34/37 age range and after (American Gangster, The Blueprint III, Magna Carta Holy Grail, 4:44). Moment of Clarity was when he was really starting to tell the world he's not longer even a rapper, or a hustler but a corporate success. If you track their album releases by age, Drake's right on time, much much richer than Jay Z was at the same age.

Funny thing is, he was 37 in 2005 and that's when his infamous lyric came to be "I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man".

If Drake dropped Lucky Lefty / October Forever, you'd have quality bar to answer the question

"Yeah, I'm just talkin' outta pocket now, I know y'all sick of me ... This shout goes out to Hov 'cause it's him and then me."

SAME BRO LMAO. I need this joint so bad. I learned how to add local music onto Apple Music just cause of that leak dkm.

One of his hardest hitting emotional bars

"My mom would never walk again, that's what the doc said
So much medication, I was worried she'd drop dead
    For real"

What's crazy is the leaked version is produced by Cardo officially but the one i love more is the fan-made beat. Menacing beat. I thought it was Boi1da till i did some digging when I heard both versions. So crazy

Its just hitting me if it keeps flooding like this, I don't know why Drake wouldn't move to Texas permanently. His wealth is gonna increase 5x in the next 5 years, he set up all his ventures like that, why would he pay these absurd taxes and live in this s*** where as he can go live in Houston @fuego

ah i doubt it would be the weather like this that pushed him that way

he always been splitting his time, before it was LA and toronto penthouse or whatever

im sure hell be back and forth lots, but toronto is his home and hes always expressed thats where he feels best

but i mean, its not like i know the dude so who knows
