KEYSHonestly its unreal. do a little bit of marketing to announce the release date and then...silence. Do everything at release night?
There was a two week window from announce date release marketing and I was expecting Drake had a real rollout plan to build the hype. Instead no single, no music video, no guerrilla marketing stunts, nothing but apparently a pre-recorded Iceman episode 4 on release night after two weeks ago finally announcing the date... I dont get it.
Especially from Oliver, Future The Prince etc all the guys around him clearly smart and capable I expect them to get the value of a rollout here. I genuinely think Drake is against "doing too much" but when you are on a rocky foundation with your label who may want to sabatoge you....just seems smart to try.
The takeaway I'm getting from this is that internally they're viewing the first three Iceman episodes as part of the rollout and those songs will end up on the album

hmm yeah I can see that, I do think with iceman episodes has helped recreate what happened with Views where its now been seeded very well a while which has built up the hype. I am Music sort have had this also because of all the delays.
still going all out for once would be great I like to see what happen if Drake did everything someone like Taylor Swift, Weekend etc does
