Do they not think Drake didn’t think that through? He announced it a month ahead of time lmao . So of course anyone from tde could try to drop something. If Drake was worried he woulda just did a suprise release
I just don’t seen Kendrick dropping a full project here that he knows will sell less than Iceman. The announcement wasn’t to do with baiting people out. I could be wrong though, can’t say I talk to too many people who have to do with kendrick lamar 😂😂😂

Drake is restless and committed to getting the truth out there . His current state is energized yet working himself to a unhealthy state in these last days of recording his passion project "Iceman". He's working himself to the bone to meet high expectations ,there is a lot riding on this.
He's gotten through a lot ot of creative blocks since being off tour , reworking songs and replacing songs that leaked. He's been getting a lot of ideas to work with new artists working himself to the bone sacrificing his health and basic needs with a means to a end. He's super mental on Iceman,very clever with his words and communication even after his lawsuit being dismissed.
Despite the rumors of features Iceman will be more of a solo album than any other past drake albums. He wants to reinforce that he can get hot without anybody ,however if he has features they will be drake features that arent of the norm.
Drake will reach victory with Iceman .This will be very celebrated and have favorable recognition restoring his reputation as a prolific music artist. Many more of drakes opps will create a peace treaty to let go of grudges ,things will calm down and there won't be anymore clap backs by Kendrick Lamar. A peaceful time will be on the other side of this album. Iceman will meet his goals , business wise and image wise.
