Honestly, yes!
Some for better, some for worse
I think I’m appreciating my favorite projects of his more now, and the decline is not as drastic as I thought it was. I think Scorpion is the only project that I already had a negative opinion of that I have a worse opinion of now, everything else has went up slightly.
Part of it is that I’m a different person now than I was when all of these projects released, part of it is now I have more context of Drake’s career in totality from the start up until now.
That’s why I think all these stan wars and sales arguments we get into are pointless, the music is the only thing that matters at the end of the day. And it’s also why I think it’s important to revisit your favorite artists’ discographies every now and then as you age because you never know how different life experiences will affect how you view their work
