Drake WonI feel like More Life was what he wanted Views to be rapping wise. Like I said I know NWTS is his best album but More Life is my favorite project. I would love a sequel type project for this 1 day before he hangs it up
I wish he would've made this like a stopgap-release series between albums and dropped one every 2-3 years that was just full of global sounds and 20+ tracks long
Then, that way he could've dialed it back and honed in a more focused vision for his studio albums

This is the Drake project I think has grown on me the most as time has progressed. It’s light, it’s fun, it’s diverse, it’s globe-trotting, the playlist label really applies well here. This has always felt like a better version of Views to me, and it sounds a more successful attempt at what he set out to do with that album. Passionfruit remains one of the best pop songs of the 2010s. Gyalchester is one of the hardest songs in his discography. You can really hear how OVO Sound Radio was a big influence on the creation of this project, from the feature choices to the transitions to the sequencing. As a capsule of that specific time period in 2010s hip-hop, it really shines! 8/10
Drake was just enjoying himself and allowing his global influences to shine on this album it’s always been enjoyable for me. In my mind I kind of see the sequencing loosely as “an evening with Drake” with the first few songs being the 8pm pre game -> buying bottles at the club -> post club kickback -> 5am reflections
