It’s the one Weeknd album that best combines his earlier dark sounds with his later pop leanings

He crafted an entire world with that project that expanded past the music and bled over into the visuals

There’s not really many low points on the album at all, and there are numerous career highlights on it

All of the commercial success & cultural impact is a factor as well, but the album’s quality would still speak for itself even without those things mentioned

Actually I’ve been listening to every solo Drake project every other day in anticipation for Iceman and posting my thoughts about each one after I finish. I’ve done the same thing for his past 5 projects and nobody started an argument with me over it, they’re just upset right now because my relisten review of Views was not positive
