Lowkey I've always thought it came from Drake's team originally though. Because almost all insiders who hyped it up had gotten something right before

Like that iiiceeeman account or whatever it is, he leaked the exact length of What Did I Miss before it released and before anyone else had it. Jared shared a BTS pic of episode 3 before it happened. What's The Dirt literally accidentally showed a convo with someone from OVO during a livestream, the same week he suddenly had a source giving him info on Episode 3. There was even that random Reddit guy who knew exactly when the episode would be announced

It was almost like Drake's team intentionally set these "insiders" up by feeding them a little piece of real info to bait them only to then feed them a bunch of bullshit. Why though, I have no idea. Maybe to figure out where leaks where coming from? Definitely a "mob boss" type strategy lol
