Let me explain real quick. Drake isn’t trying to turn his haters into fans here. But after 2024, even though a lot of casual listeners kept listening to him, some of them started thinking, ‘Is he starting to fade a little? Is he not untouchable anymore? Is he past his prime?’ Drake wants to break that perception.
The purpose of Iceman is to say: ‘I’m still a giant in this industry, I still have hits, and I still make good music.
I really hope he doesn’t go the route of just a meta commentary on each track
Like the subject matter of all the music just being about how he can still make good music instead of actually delivering good music
