I don’t know what the next drop is, but I do know it’s supposed to be the lead single. Also, “plottwist” is gonna be used in EP 4, but afaik it’s not one of the main records. More of a fan-service loosie type thing.

Apr 29·2 repliesNorthSideVaultIceman isn’t about fan service, it’s about changing the narrative. Drake’s got rage fans and pop fans too. I’m telling y’all now, this album is not rap-heavy. Think a more modern, slightly upgraded Views.
This makes no sense to me. What narrative would he be changing exactly, by doing what sounds like a very similar album to almost all of his recent solo albums?
The people hating on Drake aren't saying he can't make pop songs or rage songs anymore, or that he doesn't have his place in those genres, quite the opposite. IMO, Drake wouldn't be changing any narratives, he would be confirming them instead.
At the end of the day, if that's the music that Drake feels inspired to do, then that's all that matters. He'll do what he feels is best for him at the moment. But if he's expecting that to change people's narratives and/or opinions, he's dead wrong.
