I hear you, battles are complex, but to just insinuate everyone who picked Kendrick didn’t also prefer the bars and raps is just cope

It’s perfectly valid that you had Drake for all those categories, but realistically most didn’t, and that’s why he lost

I feel like Kendrick won off shock value and people preferring pedo and gambling bars over DV and fake west coast saviour and hypocritical content and deeming the stuff about Rocky, Ross, Metro, and The Weeknd irrelevant. Just my opinion

There were too many things going against Drake for him to win:

    • Whole life in public.

    • The bigger artist.

    • The video footage of him kissing his fan on stage.

    • Insufficient evidence of kenny beating his wife or the stripper.

    • Rift with UMG.

If this happened in 2013, the result would have been the same.

    Drake held his own though.

i had so many debates about how clever that was and how it was entertaining

everyone hyperfixated on that one line and the use of ai has a whole made people react negatively to it. but i thought it was dope fr

Yeah even Snoop liked it. But i digress iceman soon

I hear you, but a lot of us just preferred the songs, them being more shocking helps yes, it’s a battle, both tried to be shocking, but Kendrick also rapped better

6:16 live was one of the best displays of a live rap performance, let alone diss, that there will ever be

I think if this happened in 2013, it’d have been more about rapping ability and not mudslinging. Also think it wouldn’t have f***ed the game up the way it is.

Facts. It's a shame that niggas have tried to reduce the lyrics on that song simply because of how much it got played

I'd argue both Like That and Push Ups are better than anything released after

that first half of 6:16 is so beautiful

Remember when picked up a pen, lyrics that I can trust
Timid soul, stare in the mirror, askin' where I was from often
I know this type of power is gon' cost
But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star
The mannerisms of Raphael, I can heal and give you art
But the industry's cooked as I pick the carcass apart

It’s so funny how the industry being cooked has been a topic of discussion for years pre beef and now dweebs use the battle as the sole reason

Stop it, like you aint waiting to hate on the album for whatever reason. Be real. We know.

I’m one of the biggest Drake fans of all time, been listening since middle school when I discovered so far gone and take care. I’ve listened to every album on release

I can still admit that A) Drake both lost the beef and admitted defeat so he should not bring this s*** back up and B) this whole beef s*** is dragged and preventing us from getting good music

Drake dropped 9 of the worst singles of all time after $$$4U. I don’t need any of that on this album at all
