i don’t think you guys realize how despite making such great music in large quantities, drake post beef has been largely insecure to drop. it’s why $$$ was delayed and why this project has been so many times. He will have a finished product and then go back to the drawing board.

I'm confused at why he's shooting multiple music videos for songs not out yet, especially if the album ain't coming within the next couple weeks.

And why is he not working on Iceman EP 4 instead?

Yeah he no doubt has been finished many times and just delays things because he overthinks stuff. Has been true of the last 4 or 5 of his rollouts.

I just hope he's shooting an episode and not just a MV, becuse that would be the last step before the album

Drakes always had that insecurity. I remember him talking about that during NWTS rollout. So, to me, this is nothing new.

The main thing he has to do is not get too fixated on addressing everything over the past two years. I know he’s going to talk about it, but it needs to be like two direct songs and then dead it. Just wasting breath past that in my opinion.

difference is i don’t think it was ever public. Scorpion went through drastic changes in concept etc but it was never “scorpion otw” for a year. i’m talking more about changing dates and the such

Been saying it for awhile now. This “album” has too much of a stench on it already and presumably we’ve heard nothing on the final product. Sometimes you need to just cut bait and hit the drawing board again. Start over a new era and get it all done in private so you don’t apply unnecessary pressure on yourself. Most people don’t even care about the beef anymore he basically waited it out which was a net positive imo for his public perception don’t dig yourself into a hole again

Could be a bit of both. I just remember hearing the initial version of views was like a very angry album that was essentially kicking Meeks back in even worse and then he scrapped it which is where summer 16 came from (ultimately not making the album).

Idk how true that is… but given how scorp, clb, Views, all these albums tied in to beef have been developed, it aligns about with where we are right now with iceman 😂

how many drake songs have I missed out on by not watching the Iceman series of videos? I kept waiting for the album to drop but I guess I should just get pirated copies of all the songs if he's never gonna release them on music streamers

A decent amount tbh but sometimes the entire song doesn't play and sometimes it's just an instrumental or a live version of it with him just rapping the lyrics to himself.
