    Things have likely changed.

    Something going on that not many people are privy to is my guess.

    Whether it is related to business and the lawsuit or if he is just maybe scrapped and redoing things is another thing.

    Like I alluded to, its odd what the talk has been around the media and industry lately.

    Everybody just waiting on him and baiting him to drop is peculiar to me. I thought they didnt give af and wanted him gone. That he wasnt a part of the culture.

    Drakes backcatalog is still streaming like crazy... and they keeping his name relevant by always talking. He can continue to wait it out if he wants to and make his absence even more felt after their disrespect. Bleed them dry.

    Anyway, we will see. Album could drop next week for all we know.

    Yeah I think it’s just lawsuit related. It has nothing to do with him being scared. That’s just conspiracy talk.

    Either it is business or lawsuit related.

    Or things happening recently and whatnot has made him rework it.

    It could just be strategy as well. Let them wait. Bleed them dry. With "them", I mean the industry. Not us and casual music fans, we just want to get new music to play and listen to at the end of the day.

Now More Life and Scorpion era songs getting renewed spins is being explained as back catalog carries is just confusing them. Drake has 10 albums on the Billboard Albums Chart. At what point can it be accepted that he's just a guy that makes popular music?

  • I think Drake's issue is that he's been making music for the 16 - 35 demo for so long that he's managed to capture various generations of that demo with different bits of his catalogue. We'll be in 2030 and In the Bible will blow up on TikTok, it'll then get dismissed as a back catalog carry. No s*** current Drake stans just disconnect from the convo.

    IMO the Her Loss rollout was his best in recent years. Very quick but efficient. From the fake Howard Stern interviews, fake SNL performance, tiny desk announcement for the performance that never came lol funniest thing is tiny desk invited them on after that and they still didn’t do it😂😂😂. Colors performance where they just lip synced the track. His and 21’s table for one talk.

    And let’s not forget the vogue magazine cover that ended up getting them sued and even KTT2 got a mention in the lawsuit 😂😂😂

    Can’t remember the time frames but pretty sure all that s*** happened in just a couple weeks lol. Great stuff

    Which One was a swing and a miss

    DOG HOUSE was completely dead on arrival

    Those singles went from being used to promote the album in tandem with the livestreams to now being loosies left off the album because they didn’t pick up steam whatsoever. Same reason Hotline Bling was on Views and Right Hand wasn’t

    prob cuz he’s doing these features no one wants (central cee, yeat) and tbh dog house leaked and which one entire song leaked before that ep and when word got out that central cee was in the livestream that killed all hype. Ppl knew those songs were garbage before hand

    What did I miss was a banger tbh he didn’t lead it off correctly after and just stopped and went radio silent then proceeded to drop 2 mid songs in both live streams. Needs to stick to singles with no features. Also at the end of one of the live streams when he played the dope best everyone was hyped( national treasure?) and I think everyone though he was gna drop it on ep 3 which he didn’t and went with dog house for some reason lmfao

    His whole roll out has been garbage since . You can’t go radio silent with this type of s*** and not have a proper roll out or timeline in doing things. He dropped ep one two and three way apart from ea other and now ep 3 and 4 are insanely apart

    WDIM should’ve been the lead/only single, could’ve given which one and doghouse to Yeat and cench for their respective albums. Not happy with the rollout but confident ICEMAN will be his best work this decade.
