I really think he saw the reception from Dog House and How I Feel wasn’t what he was expecting, so he basically had to rework the entire album.
That what’s usually happens when artists drops singles and then retreat when they don’t pop off.
Only a good thing cause they were both trash. Yeat and Cench led single songs his most desperate attempts of scoring a cheap hit to date in his career so far. It didn't work... back to the drawing board and just create quality music... forget about the numbers and optics for a minute

LeaveI genuinely remember every single drake album with the exception of iyrtitl having this exact same pump fake rollout so this isn't surprising. It's just the only time it feels like he's doing it for the sake of building hype

Other than that classic convo he's only been discussed cause of a new leak dropping that's either trash or involves him still trying to diss.
Which is the real issue, he knows people aren't feeling any of the leaks.
He's likely busy making a new album (I would hope so).
