Proving my point
“Why love somethingr when you have everything?” Is the calling cry of every person who thinks streaming is the fundamental ideal situation
But that’s not as great as it seems
Why would I not want access to all the music in the world? That’s what we currently have and there are artist groups and songs I treasure still, not because I don’t have other options but because they just don’t move me the way that song or artist might. Access on the level we have now reveals what actually touches you or what’s just put in front of you
The only way streaming works is if you have a mindset that prioritizes consumption over appreciation
You can appreciate music you stream lol. Streaming really is only a tool. I don’t get this elitist mindset lol
Like $15 a month I think. Paying around a lunch a month to have access to an endless catalogue of music I love is a great deal. News flash, none of us “own” anything in this life if you provide the same level of scrutiny. With the amount of music I have downloaded, it would have costed 10x the amount I have paid from my years of Apple Music subscription
Pretty good deal. I also own all of my music. Can never be taken away or changed how streaming services can do to people (which threads get made about on here daily)
2 losers glazing each other cause they hate a random dude they never met and only know by profile name
Jesus Christ. lemme know why dudes were posting abuser Manziel then we can talk lmfao

How much is streaming monthly? Multiplied by 70 years and add in increases when they realize you don’t own anything
It’s the cost of one CD a month. It’s only March and I’ve listened to way more than what’s on just three albums. There’s no way you can make the argument streaming is worse for the consumer.

None of my 3k+ saved songs taken away from me, ever.
I’ve had Apple Music since its release and have paid it every month and it’s still not even close to what I would’ve paid for all the music I consume
Why are we preaching consumption
This is just the 4chan meme
Yes I agree but I don’t think streaming is what’s keeping people from doing that.
I had streaming for most of my high school career and I’ve probably discovered more genres, artists, etc than I would have if I didn’t have streaming.
I will agree that you’re more likely to sit with an album if you use to buy it vs just streaming it
Which gives artists in general zero incentives to make great projects that need to be sat with

You do not need access to all the music in the world.

Also we just dont listen to the albums now, we listen to the play list, every playlist means minimum 10 seperate album

There are artists that do just that though. You personally just don't like the music.

So f***in sad man.

You “own” your music until you don’t
. We can talk hypotheticals both ways

talk to me about why Nocta was posting abuser Manziel
I thought ya’ll stood apart from women abusers?

Look what streaming did.

Because music and all art is made to be consumed. Consumption of music is how artist pay their bills. Creativity and consumption are two sides of the same coin. Can’t have one without the other

glad to know your thoughts on abuse lol
