tbh I’m actually okay it happened. I realized in real time how much the principles hiphop heads spout are fake af. It’s not about lyricism, innovation, impact, or musical influence. All of this is just team sport. It actually made me more of a Drake fan when I saw that all the things I used to hold against him weren’t real. It’s only cherry picked to be used against him specifically. Even Kendrick making a TikTok-bait album in gnx and the old heads glazing it was eye opening af. A lot of people got exposed so much during that time
