What’s really weird is Tyler and Rocky selling more T-shirts than their music gets streamed
And why is that?
And why did he randomly do it with $$$4u and couldn’t sell for s***?
That happened after Drake’s team started making physicals. I know like 2 years ago he started finally pressing the vinyls. So they prob tested out how this would go on SSS4u in preparation for his Amazon partnership that’s gonna kick in with iceman
Do you not find it weird that Drake can do 500k in just streams but can’t sell 20k physicals?
Literally no other big artist has this problem
No. Because drakes music has been marketed as such since the views era. When NWTS dropped physical sales were insane. Views changed everything in terms of how his fans consume his music.
Drake fans actually listen to his music — they don’t use it as an aesthetic accessory like Tyler and Rocky fans do.
And today people listen to music through streaming services.
When music was sold only in physicals, he was still the #1.
Do the math.
Wanting to own your favorite music in physical format is definitely an aesthetic accessory!

I think everyone needs to get a collective grip.
If you are a fan of Drake, you're not required to be combative towards EVERY other rap artist that may have said something negative about him, or better yet, because a user on a forum says the artist may pose a threat to his commercial placement in music right now. You can still enjoy their music and even support them. Drake won't know nor kick you off "the team" or whatever.
I would absolutely hate to shun so much music because I'm so tied to being on an imaginary team.
Rocky dropped a pretty good album and I kind of think 119K (who really really gives a s*** man) is pretty damn good for him. Especially now, 8 years of no release can definitely work against you, not for you.
Carry on.

And it didn’t go well at all
Wait I know that nigga ain’t write that long ass message cause rocky flopped
Who’s alt is this that only hops into a drake thread to give a fake neutral stance that only goes at drake stans while conveniently ignoring all the other bs that goes on?
Oh ffs. Carry on.
And it didn’t go well at all
I mean I don’t think it was the peoples fault, I think it’s on their side lol anytime a vinyl would pop up it’d sell out. They just suck at doing that tbh
Maybe they’re backed up because of people like Taylor making a hunnit versions
Is there any new news about the album?
Release date, potential track list, features, production credits? etc jw
Production crew: B4U, Octavian, London Cyr, DJ Lewis, Nyan, Oz, Patron, LAF Collective, Smash David, Boi1da, Fierce, Alex Lustig and more

God forbid artists want to actually make a fair dollar off of their work
Let’s stream everything and subscribe everywhere and own nothing
Neeko is my other alt I only bring out on special occasions
I’m the only one still known for the music…

Thats not the point dumbass

I'm British with an Auburn basketball profile picture. I'm definitely one of a kind.

I’m just looking at as the “test” example you used, if it was a test do you think they labeled it as a successful one in house?

If someone like Tyler can get vinyl fully pressed at a mass-scale for his album, there is absolutely no excuse for Drake not being able to

i love records and have a deep collection but a lot of my generation uses them for decoration. most people i know with Tyler records don’t have a record player
