His posting on Instagram has been the same for the last decade. Nothing is cryptic. It’s usually just throwaway captions or lyrics. There’s no need to try to decipher what they mean.

Reminder but if you spend time on this forum discussing any artist, you are in the 1% of fans. The average Drake fan is not tuned into every post, leak, etc. They don’t even notice that it’s been almost a year since he announced he’s working on an album.

Aint no way this dropping anytime soon. And it would be dumb to drop iceman in the spring or summer

By some of the posts in here, you'd think Drake hasn't released any music this decade.

I don’t believe that. Drake has 141M followers on Instagram. That’s almost double his monthly Spotify listeners. You can’t tell me Drake doesn’t enjoy using his IG platform to post random stuff

The problem it’s a huge distraction from creating an album. It definitely seems like this album got scrapped or overhauled.

Drake dropped a lot of good s*** in 2025, but I’m concerned the quality of this album man. It just seems so all over the place. Reflective of Drake himself.

I’m not sure what his follower count has to do with anything. I feel confident in assuming that a majority of his followers are not spending hours trying to decipher what the random screenshot is he posted. They’re liking it & continuing to scroll.

If you think posting on Instagram is enough of a distraction to affect the quality of the album, I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s hilarious how Drake has only said he’s working on the album & it’s coming soon. Somehow instead of taking his words at face value, everyone has come up with a million theories as for what’s going on & the quality of the music. Waiting isn’t even an option anymore.

It means Drake is spending more time crafting selfies for his story than songs

We’re eating off leaks from 2022 and unfinished snippets from the Iceman episodes. Believe it or not Drake used to actually put out singles as finished products. Or, he’d give insane features to his boys so they got to eat and Drake got to build up hype. The key part is finished songs. I know the Iceman episodes were innovative but I expected finished products after that. We didn’t get that at all

So, you imagine he isn't focused on working on the album because he's posting on IG frequently? Something he's done since he's had an IG account in the early 2010s? You sound dumb and your "concerns" echo the same thing.

I think I’m smart enough, and paid attention to Drake long enough to know he just doesn’t seem locked in.

I’ll listen to the album but I need to hear real music from him before I feel like Iceman will actually be good.

How do you know how much time he’s spending on the music? The leaps you’re making from the Instagram posts is kind of proving my point. You’re thinking way too much into each post. Let’s wait & see what the finished product is before we make sweeping generalizations about his work ethic. He’s earned that given his track record.
