But I completely understand why he's always seemed against that. The people that dislike Drake want him to disappear, they want to Ja Rule him, they want him to lose relevance. They'll even pretend to be Drake fans and preach the "let people miss him" but to me it's self sabotage to do that. You give them exactly what they want if you take a long leave, and end up depriving your actual fans of music. Those fans should be who he makes music for.

I disagree with a lot of the steps Drake took during the beef, but him dropping $$$4U as his first project shortly after was a great decision looking back. It definitely settled a lot of the storm and gave the fans a chance to celebrate him after all the internet BS happened last year. I wouldn't just go ghost if I'm him, drop something undeniably hard (Her Loss) and shut up all the noise
