I'm saying there are other rappers out there doing the kind of rapping these complainers like. Why is it Drake who they look at to give them what they want?
I was a massive kendrick fan during gkmc and damn. When I realized he would never rap how i wanted him to again when he released Mr Morale, I just moved on. I didn't make it my mission to ruin it for other kendrick fans.
Same with Future after the Wizrd, Vince staples after Summertime 06. I don't go into every thread to annoy their fans that they'er listening to mid music. It's only with Drake that I see this large amount of para-social hating.
Drake is not above criticism and criticism is not complaining. Fans just want to see the nigga rap and make the caliber of music we all know he can. If he doesn't want to prioritize that anymore that's fine but he's going to have to hear about it and not be sensitive to it and so are y'all. Especially if he's still tryna be vocal about being the best.

An actual fan wouldn't lose their mind off a couple of songs after Drake has given some of the best rapping with sh3 and during the beef. Songwriting has been great with 100 gigs and ss4u.
Let him drop the album and then you can let us know how bad it is. Rn you just look like a kbot who is waiting for the next move to be a misstep ahead of time

If you put his most recent output up against his peers, he loses, and that’s what matters

I don't think people saying that they don't want fatd 2.0 is in bad faith. It's pretty universally seen as his weakest album even amongst die hards.
I said that he's being vocal about being the best. Which is fine, you're supposed to feel that way as a rapper. Just make sure you can back it up with the raps/song quality or be prepared to face the criticism that comes with that.
