The day is Thursday and the hour is 9pm EST.
ICEMAN Episode 3 opens with a shot of a disheveled looking Drake running through empty streets, Pinocchio following.
Unlike the previous episode, Pinocchio speaks. He loudly chants
CARTI MY EVIL TWIIIINN
CARDO MY EVIL TWIIINN
As Drake runs on.
The episode continues to give snippets off the ICEMAN album while the camera switches to an overhead view of the city via drone then back again.
We see Pinocchio getting closer as Drake begins to tire out.
Once Drake can no longer continue, he makes a break towards a dark alleyway only to find a large brick wall rendering it impassable.
Pinocchio has him pinned.
As the short puppet slowly makes its way towards Drake, mumbling things like “Shoo” and “bee bee”, a projector screen suddenly appears on the wall with a countdown starting from 3. Pinocchio pauses in fear as the countdown ends.
The beat previewed from the end of episode 2 kicks in and RECEIPTS appears on the projected surface.
It was all a trap.
Drake has Pinocchio right where he wants him.
