It’s really difficult to take any of these opinions seriously. One of the worst side effects of the internet continues to be the fact that it has emboldened people to type that worst takes & opinions with unmerited confidence.

You have to let people get their takes off. None of it really matters because as long as Drake keeps releasing music, they'll all be here to listen so you can't take anything they say too seriously.

There’s a video of Johnny manziel saying he heard the album is coming end of October/early November. But who knows🤷‍♂️

I’m just amazed at the logic & stupidity. Drake is scared to release a solo album has to be one of the funnier things I’ve read on here in a long time.

The difference between NWTS and CLB is cinema vs Netflix.

  • Aug 17, 2025

The Spotify users and stream viewers will keep the numbers solid though so no worries.

It’s very clear that Drake has been focusing on the numbers with bloated projects for streaming. He doesn’t seem interested in presenting a concise and cohesive body of work.

Your opinion is your opinion but why are you saying this like the majority of Drake's actual audience agrees with you? Dark Lane Demo Tapes is beloved as a pandemic classic mixtape. CLB, Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss & $$$4U are all very beloved. The only project he's dropped this decade that got a mixed reception upon release and still has somewhat of a mixed reception with fans is For All the Dogs and even that project will have most Drake fans admit that it has his best collection of R&B songs for a solo Drake project.

“CLB, Honestly, Nevermind, and Her Loss & $$$4U are all very beloved.”

    Actually just lying.

And there’s a big market for that! Just don’t act like it’s some quality lasting music ya know.

I predicted the album dropping on Drake's birthday months ago so I wouldn't be surprised.

No lies. Like I said, within Drake's audience, all those albums are. If you wanna go by the critics, they have never liked any Drake album.

    Stupid post.

Dark Lane Demo Tapes - 14 songs.
    Honestly, Nevermind - 14 songs.
    Her Loss - 16 songs.

Y'all just come on here and yap rubbish. Drake has always made long projects, dating back to his first mixtapes, but he's also always had shorter, more concise projects in his discography.

Thank Me Later has 14 songs. Nothing Was the Same has 13 songs. WATTBA has 11 songs. Like what are we doing here?

Many of them are deranged Kendrick stans masking as normal human beings.

Within Drake’s audience is such a cop out lol

Ofc mostly all Drake albums are well received by his core audience, it’s like that for every artist

And no it’s not necessarily about critics It’s when albums are well received by the culture at large beyond their core fanbases that they are special

That’s like a Wayne Stan (who usually love every Wayne mixtape and project Wayne ever made) being like yes Wayne’s projects are beloved, everything is fine

What culture? The same "culture" thinks Drake hasn't made a good project since 2013? That culture?
