THP6 is mostly addressing NLU more than MTG. It wouldn't have been as good. It's the best track to end the beef on a high note. If it dropped before NLU he'd still need to respond to it or risk not getting the last word. We're in the better timeline imo even if the planted info would've been better to reveal immediately after

Nah we ended up getting some of the better bars than the other fan base. The MJ/Prince flips, the A minor B sharp lines, the whole Buried Alive Interlude parody, the entire 3rd verse from FM addressing Pharrell's chains + 2Pac estate + false Cease & Desist allegations literally the best part of the beef was seeing Drake's pen tested in real time. I'll say this, Kendrick may have been a p**** for stockpiling tracks and lying but seeing Drake rise to the occasion and put up a worthy fight was rewarding. All those years of "Kendrick is a way better lyricist than Drake" got put to bed. They went toe to toe for 5 tracks and it was incredible being a fan of both
Personally I give the bars to Drake say what you want about the popular vote or streaming numbers. This wouldn't have been a rap battle if both sides came with preloaded responses
He did this all after FATD, SH3, and a tour.
