Basically his big angle is that the RICO / organized way UMG Spotify went about destroying his credibility through fake streams, payola, manipulation did damage to his career in terms of economics. Instead of dropping an album with UMG and going independently, it seems like Drake wants $500-700m in damages and then he’ll drop that with UMG and then he’ll go realllllly make $$$ independently.
