drake gave up a certain amount of revenue, amount of ownership, amount of control, to give umg the ability to market and profit off of his music for his own gain too

if he feels umg didnt uphold their end of the agreement, or that umg purposefully did things to devalue his brand, he has every right to go after them legally and thats good for artists
