I think the lawsuit may impact his subsequent numbers more than anything else prior.
He is now going to be blacklisted at Spotify, wtf is he thinking?…
He is also going to be blacklisted at anything UMG has direct influence over. And if he still has to put another album out with them after they are not doing anything to ensure it succeeds.
Even if the public didn’t gaf about this these are the higher ups that actually control the music even being delivered to the public.

Yes this is exactly what they want. They don't want Drake to have too much power or pay him his worth. Yeah Drake makes them a lot of money but they don't want him to have too much power.

Drake knows all this. It's why 100gigs was sorta a test. If Spotify drops him and Apple Music keeps him those Spotify listeners are just going to move to Apple Music. Spotify does not want to lose those subscribers.
