This is like choosing to not watch prime Shaq because he destroyed your favorite team
Never let your fandom get in the way of witnessing greatness
I'd like a "grown man" album, but because of the subject matter in FATD I wouldn't bet on it
It's solid, how's yours?
Just got back from running some errands so pretty good, you got any plans?

Just got some food, about to play this Kendrick album a second time while I eat, see if it gels this time

Doesn't need to be grown just honest.

I get that but the way he raps about his exes/flings have gotten a little stale

Bahama Promises, and Drew You A Picasso are top 10 potential Drake songs
But the issue in the songs are so damn trivial

Bahama promises is such a beautiful song that is literally just about getting into an argument on vacation

Thank you. I love those songs but I'm not mad at people who say they've grown outta Drake's music.

Haleyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Genuine question, not trying to bait an argument I’m open to understanding.
Why does “the other side” keep saying Drake is bad for rap? Not going to argue the good I think he’s done, but what specifically does he do that’s “bad” for rap?

Everything he does is the worst.

Serious answer, he doesn't pretend to try to speak about spirituality or judge people, so his music is shallow.
Thus unartistic, thus bad for hip hop, for inspiring others not talk about whatever people are looking for that Drake or others haven't or don't talk about or speak to for them.
In reality Drake is just being Drake which in turn seems disingenuous because so much of Hip Hop is faking.
People lied to so much can't see truth for what it is
just some extended thoughts.
