Literally every move Kenny made post beef has been the wrong one lmao

• Vaulted the west coast remix because Drake moved on too quick

• Went back to his bm and Compton after Drake correctly pointed out his bachelor lifestyle clashes with his engagement

• Had to do that show inside the bity and plant money trees back in Compton schools to try and win the people over

• Hyped up music video and it barely made noise

• Abandoned Mustard and let his album flop

• Delayed album and there's 0 anticipation now

• Superbowl announcement felt like a joke, even his white america fans where asking themselves why

• Copied Drake's ig drops for his comeback single and flopped. And he said f*** the industry only to chase the superbowl and grammys

• Got SZA to do a softball interview with him and he came off desperate to rewrite the narrative on his biggest song being centered around Drake

You hit the nail on the head.

As fans, we sometimes get frustrated with responses when we don’t see the bigger picture. Drake, being the strategist that he is, probably saw how things were going to unfold and decided to take a step back and let Kendrick’s diss run its course. Now that people have had time to a***yze it, Kendrick’s diss has been picked apart and reduced to just a fleeting moment. It lacks the longevity needed to cement it as a scathing diss. No matter how you look at it, Kendrick’s biggest moment will always be attached to Drake, which weakens the narrative that he ‘won’ the beef.

Moving forward, Kendrick may find himself chasing that same level of impact, but it won’t be the same. His drive was fueled by jealousy and negativity, and you can’t build lasting success when it’s built on hate. It’s like trying to tame a wild animal—eventually, those same people who propped you up will turn against you. Without genuine momentum, Kendrick will struggle to create another groundbreaking moment on his own.

I still want another direct diss but this is true. It would only give Kendrick more shine. Drake knew a decade ago on S*** Remix how this would all play out. At least we got 5 S-tier disses from the boy before he stepped back. The Heart Part 6 goes hard to this day no matter what the npc tweets or youtube bot comments say

Yeah. There's something that feels cohesive about the first 4 disses that THP6 lacks even tho I fw as much... Like Holy and AK hinted at, the embassy shooting may have changed Drake's mind. I still think we haven't got the red button because of the ig story after Family Matters. And since we got 100 Gigs and a new Party collab otw I don't think we'll ever get it

Even if we did Kendrick drops 5 minutes later making up a fake nephew or accusing Drake of unpaid child support and the internet eats it up anyway so maybe it's pointless to drop it. Do you listen to Family Matters and think that's a red button? It's a 10/10 song but not the "nuke"
